This diptych was designed so that each piece can stand individually on its own merits. However, I believe they make a greater statement when united. The symbolism embodied here brings several things to mind: freedom, incarceration, war, piece, deception, psychedelia, separation, and oneness. Theory is one thing, practice is another.
