Biblical apocalyptic scriptures often describe visions of heaven which correspond to religious structures from other cultures. St. John’s Revelation describes visions of heaven: cherubim reminiscent of Assyrian statues and a throne room reminiscent of the ceiling of Rome’s Pantheon.
Symbolism reveals how the realm of spiritual existence (Psuche) relates to the the material world (Bios). The Pantheon ceiling design reveals a puzzle: chains of dangerous seeds all leading back to a central seed — an alien embryo which must be aborted, for its birth heralds the end of life as we know it.
